2. How to Swap (Bid)
• We offer free public viewing of items we have available online through the dig page. However, once you find an item you are interested in, you would have to register with the website to place bids.
• A "bid" consists of an offer to trade a particular item with one or more of yours; this means that in order for you to bid on someone’s item, you would have post your items using our swap functionality (My Stuff page).
• There are many ways of swapping, you can bid on someone’s item with a similar type of item, or offer multiple items to increase your chances of winning. For example, if you like person A’s Jacket, you can bid on the jacket with another jacket, or a shirt and pants.
• You determine the value of the other person’s item by choosing what you want to bid on it. If the person agrees with the bids you have placed, then the trade is complete and you will both need to ship the items to each other.
• You are allowed to use the item to bid on multiple items, whoever responds first will win your bid.
*Bid, people usually think of biding as using money to bid on something you want, in this case, think of it as more of an offering of trade.
